The RockStar Graduate - Post Date October 25, 2007

More pictures of our "Rock Star". Beautiful view, if you could look!

Marilyn is a "RockStar"

Marilyn had to make 3 climbs to graduate from her rock climbing class! She graduated with ease. I was very nervous, just watching her made me dizzy. David and Jordan laughed at me and said that I needed to "chill".

Shek-O Village

It was a fun Hike and a cute village with a beach where you could swim. And yes, I (Rebecca) , was on the hike with the job of designated photographer.

Hike Pictures to Shek-O Continued

Looks like a wild pineapple plant to us. Someone got really wet, guess who fell in? Was it Jordan or Marilyn?

My Parking Garage

As most of you guys know I like cars and motorcycles. So, one day I was walking around taking pictures for a storyboard when I saw a Rolls Royce pull into the Guest parking garage. I followed it and found a Lotus Elise and two other Rolls Royces. I then decided to explore the other four floors of the parking garage and the above pictures vividly represents what I saw minus about ten thousand Mercedes. The first picture isn't a great picture of the car but the car in the picture is a Ford GT-40 also know as a 200 m.p.h. super car. The car in the next picture is one of the rarest Ferraris every built. It is a Ferrari F-40 and is worth about a million dollars because of it's Kevlar body panels and it's 200 m.p.h.+ top speed! The picture after that is of a MV Agusta F4, a four cylinder super bike! That is special because most of our cars have four cylinder motors. The last picture is of a Ferrari 328 GTS. Nothing too special but a Ferrari is a Ferrari! I thought you guys might like to know what I now spend my Sunday mornings doing.

Girls Day Out - October 12, 2007!

The Upper Primary School was closed for parent- teacher conferences.........so after our conferences we had some fun! Yep---Ice Skating in Hong Kong and then lunch at none other than Ruby Tuesday's with friends. In the first picture, we had two invaders getting in on our fun.

Baseball Days in Hong Kong

We had our first baseball game of the season (Season here runs from October through May) and lost to a tough Japanese Team 5-1. It was a fun game but the parents were not as enthusiastic as our Roby Team Parents! I need Elizabeth Loeber & Julie Wayne to help these parents cheer for our Titans Team. Our uniforms should be here for the next game, so Jordan will have to let his Roby/Dilworth shirts retire to practices only.

It's ALIVE!

I am taking a course in school that requires me to construct a robot out of provided materials, and then design and execute a web page that communicates the process of designing and creating the robot. I have uploaded some pictures of the finished robot above. I am working on uploading a video of my robot to the blog but with no prevail so far. If I can't get it uploaded before my website is finished, then you guys can just view the video of the final product on my webpage. I have programmed the robot to reverse when the touch sensor ( the long stick-like object at the very front of the robot) is activated. As soon as I finish my web page, I will let all of you guys know the URL so you can check it out and find out all you could possibly want to know about my drag racer-tractor hybrid.
