Marilyn read her poem to the congregation at
her Grandmother's Funeral.
Some of The Williams Gang

There Grandma sits in her old brown chair,
pointing with her cane at stuff here and there.
Though all the pain that she was in,
she put on a smile and pulled on a grin.
Because she loves us.
God knew it was her time to soar,
so she could watch us all play on Topsail's beach shore.
Because she loves us.
Now when it thunders and with a little rain,
You know its Grandma walking in heaven with her cane.
Because she loves us.
And when the sun shines if you look way up high,
you can see Grandma smiling with a sparkle in her eye.
Grandma will always be watching because she loves us.
