Marilyn's Social Studies School Project

Marilyn had to appear as an indentured servant and state some facts on what the role of the servant was. You can also see some of her classmates in their roles. Each student had a button on them, once the button was pushed, they could move and perform their speech. Marilyn and the others did an excellent job!

Notice the rainbow in the picture with the Hope Town Lighthouse. I believe I am correct in quoting, that this is the World's most photographed lighthouse.

More of the Bahamas!

We had a great time and learned that the Bahamians have no clue as to what "stress" is! They can show you the true meaning of "laid back". It was great to join in on the laid back type of life, just a little different from Hong Kong or even Charlotte, NC.

Board Meeting in the Bahamas

David and I went to the Bahamas for a CPP, International, Board Meeting. Great place for a meeting. These pictures include the fishing trip, of course after the meeting was over, some of the fish caught and the dinner with rewards for the fishermen and women!

Our 2 spooks are ready, the pumpkin is lit, & the treat giver is at her station. So now we await the ghosts & goblins!

Preparation of the Jack-O'Lantern

Our pumpkin came all the way from the USA and was purchased from Jordan & Marilyn's school Pumpkin Festival. Now that the pumpkin has been carved..........look out for the spooks.

Marilyn is a "RockStar"

Marilyn had to make 3 climbs to graduate from her rock climbing class! She graduated with ease. I was very nervous, just watching her made me dizzy. David and Jordan laughed at me and said that I needed to "chill".

Shek-O Village

It was a fun Hike and a cute village with a beach where you could swim. And yes, I (Rebecca) , was on the hike with the job of designated photographer.
